This newly established role will be instrumental in aligning the plant controlling practices across the Group in our Bakery divisions, the standard setting and monitoring, the implementation of the Factory of the Future project, serving as the Controlling partner for the Operations team, and enhancing plant controlling automation of closing, forecasting and reporting routines across all LLBG entities.



Function


  • You define policies and standardize KPIs: The Group needs to strengthen the policy framework in the plant controlling area. To this extent, you will analyze current policies and practices in place (local and group), and develop in consensus with the major production units a common reference policy, with the aim of maximum standardization. (e.g. how are product costs built up, how to analyse & report logistic costs, etc.)
  • You optimize efficiencies in plant controlling operations: You investigate current routines and analyses performed by local plant controllers and suggest standardization and automation improvements. (e.g. monthly closing & forecasting, variance analysis, etc.)
  • You are the CO Business Partner for the Factory of the Future Project: The “Factory of the Future” project envisions a factory where empowered people are supported by standardized processes & enabling technologies to guarantee, in a sustainable way, Product Leadership at the best possible efficiency. You will stay closely involved in the data collection and analysis aspect of this FotF project, to ensure the operational KPI’s can be linked to financial performance KPI’s. You will be the business partner for the VP Operations and the Digital Strategy Director during the course of this project.
  • You conduct predictive product cost simulations based on forecast data from Procurement, HR, and Engineering departments.
  • You are willing to travel approximately 3-4 days per month.


Your Profile


  • You have a master’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in Controlling, including Plant Controlling.
  • You are proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • You have strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and good knowledge of SAP; experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • You work independently, combining data analysis skills with high-level thinking and synthesis.
  • You are a strong communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels.
